It was a pleasant evening, when my study was interrupted by a sudden vibration of my mobile device. What this could mean, I wondered. For what reason would my evening be sullied by a interruption of this type? Of course, I could do nothing but pick up my phone and find out. It was a text, of which contained an almost unbearably difficult question: Should a pepperoni roll be classified as a sandwich?

This post was almost entirely inspired by Andreas Karlson’s blog post where he details how he created the worst version of an isOdd function ever to visit this land. Andreas’s 4 billion if statements cover the whole of 32-bit integers, and ultimately were written in Assembly to avoid compiler limits from C++. Of course, when I saw this post, I wondered, how crippled would a browser be to read a 4 billion if statement WASM program?

If you are reading this, you have reached far back in time (or you’re very early to reading my blog, hi bots!). I thought I might as well have a blog around somewhere, and it seemed simple enough to set up. Despite my general dislike of webdev, I managed to put together a Hugo site.
